Out into the frozen tundra on a very cold night to catch a concert by the Indie Progressive Rock band MANORAY playing @ Sala Rosa.
- Did a phone interview with Pierre Chastenay, Astronomer at the Planetarium and host of the Tele-Quebec TV series CODE CHASTENAY from a studio @ Radio Centreville CINQ FM 102.3 on Friday January 23, 2009 at 4:00 pm. Pre-Recorded the entire program so little ole me could attend the Budokon session on Saturday afternoon while the pre-recorded show was aired @ 2;30 pm Saturday.
- Received ill tidings from my mom that one of my uncles (her brother) had died on Friday January 23, 2009.
- Tickled the toes in the sand on Thursday January 22, 2009 by playing INDOOR BEACH VOLLEYBALL @ 365 MONTREAL as captain of the SUNS OF BEEYOTCHES.
- Attended the media event Thursday January 22, 2009 @ 5:30 pm held at the Planetarium of Montreal to kick-off the International Year of Astronomy 2009. Got to meet the great Galileo himself who kindly dropped in to say "open your heart and mind to the universe."
- Got in an excellent BUDOKON workout on Wednesday evening January 21, 2009.
- Catching fresh, crisp outdoor exercise with an ICE SKATE @ the Bonsecours Rink Tuesday afternoon January 20, 2009.
- Relished a Sunday afternoon of two NFL championship matches. My Steelers beat my Ravens to move on the the Super Bowl. While the Cardinals beat the Eagles to move on to their first ever Super Bowl appearance. Did a home exercise workout while catching the two games on TV.
