Snap Shots of the MILE END COMMUNITY GARDEN ... 'Tis been the week of the HARVEST FULL MOON and this weekend is the official end of summer on the calender. I cycled up to the gardens from Old Montreal on a gorgeous Friday afternoon to catch interviews with three toiling community gardeners. Harvest time and the first frost is a coming!

- Enjoying the last week of summer! Be the Sun Ray Johnny Ray! Played Softball on Sunday; daily Cardio Kick Boxing workout @ Peel Basin; Tried out a Thai Kick Box class; In-Line Skated the Gilles Villeneuve Circuit; stroke out on a job opportunity in New York City (work visas are tight); Passed on a 6-month Project Management gig in Nanuvat (global warming hasn't yet made it one of my hot spots for a winter work assignment; would love to visit the Canadian North one day but I had something more like a vacation in mind); watched mucho MLB pennant race baseball ... The long shot Toronto Jays faded but howz about those LA Dodgers since Manny Ramirez arrived?
- And HOT DAMN! Just received an email Friday saying I won free tickets from the kind souls of the Osheaga Music Festival to go see the band "Noah and the Whale" on Monday September 22, 2008 at the club LES SAINTS. Sweet! I've never seen a whale on stage before. So Kool. Oops, I guess I should try to find a date or tag-along Indie music lover.
